Grandma is happy. Throw away those remotes with all the extra buttons that dont mean squat to you. This has large easy to see buttons.
Thanks It's pefect for her. This wasn't for me but for my mom.She is leagally blind but she can make a few things out. Wanted something easy and bigger then a regular remote.
this is a nice remote the only thing was the tv I got it for did not have a code for other wise I like it Thank You.
Now, we know she pushes those buttons and uncharacteristically large amount of times but still they shouldn't break that oftern. That being said the reason we have is because the volume control buttons have broken every time and along with that, sometimes the channel up and down button buttons broke too. Regardless, a relatively decent product for the price and if you used it normally you would 'prolly be ok. OK, the reason we bought 2 of these is because my 93 year old mother-in-law can't figure out any remote other than this one. In her lifetime we have bought her about 15 of these.
I would recommend it for anyone with compromised eyesight or anyone who has a difficult time pushing the small buttons on regular remote controls. It was also fairly easy to program initially. I purchased this remote control for my mother who has some difficulty seeing and also has Alzheimers. She finds the remote control easier to use because the buttons are big enough to see versus the remote that came with the television.
